Team Parent

Hello Team Parent.

Thank you for volunteering. The Team Parent can make all the difference on a team. They positively affect the soccer experience for the kids in ways that the coaches can not. There are only a few things that the team parents needs to do but many more that you can do to help the team stay organized and to keep the coaches from getting overloaded.

The main role of the Team Parent is to help keep the team in the loop for the season. The team parent also assists with the distribution and return of fundraising materials between parents and fundraising coordinator.

Things that are really helpful for the best soccer experience for the players:

  1. Organize Snacks (either brought by volunteers each week or collect donations and bring them yourself)
  2. Make sure communication flows from the coach to the rest of the parents (IE: game and practice schedules, missing kids, etc)
  3. Plan an end of season party
  4. Contact the Club administrators with any team issues or ensure anyone who has an issue knows how to contact them at [email protected]

Thanks again for Volunteering! We couldn't do it without you!
